Who actually does the work

The carpentry is ours. Leonard Builders keeps full-time carpenters on staff, and they are the people on your house — not a crew hired for the week.

For the work that is not carpentry — excavation, foundations, plumbing, electrical, heating, roofing — we bring in subcontractors we have used for years and would use on our own houses. We schedule them, we meet them on site, and we answer for their work. You deal with us throughout.

How a project goes

At your house or at our office on Route 113.
THEN
Peter draws it
Plans drawn in-house, in pencil, so what is drawn is something that can actually be built.
THEN
You get a price
A price against those drawings, itemized so you can see what you are paying for.
FINALLY
We build
Our carpenters, our trusted subcontractors, and one number to call the whole way through.
